Head Help*r - Front Desk Team Lead

The Head Help*r is a key member of the Stretch*d team and as such, supervises the front desk, takes initiative, delegates work and provides feedback to the team, follows up on outstanding issues and is an overall go-to person for customer service and front desk related questions. Under the supervision and direction of the Manager, or Chief Operating Officer, the Head Help*r oversees all Help*r and front desk related operations, and works closely with the Stretch*r team in supporting all general space operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directly supervising Help*rs when on shift
  • Setting monthly Help*r schedules and manage daily and weekly changes or updates, when on shift; ensures that there is consistent Help*r coverage
  • Developing, training and setting high standards for other Help*rs
  • Overseeing Help*r training program, including assistance in developing Help*r training materials and manual, as well as ongoing training
  • Creating and managing all front desk procedures and ensuring that all Help*rs adhere to protocols and standards
  • Upholding premium customer service standards, via client communication and Help*r protocols
  • Overseeing retail education program for Help*rs and Stretch*rs
  • Upholding retail merchandising standards
  • Ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that we are always fully stocked

Scheduling and Timing:

  • Minimum of 30 hours / week in Help*r role (at the front desk), including at least one weekend shift and at least one opening and closing shift per week
  • 4-6 hours a month for planning and scheduling (not necessarily at front desk)
